Amortentia finished first past in a trial race here before a close second at Leopardstown and normal progress should see him in the frame. After a very good run at Tipperary, Howth disappointed at Down Royal though was staying on over that 7f. MOONY BEAMS was beaten when long odds-on at Leopardstown after a very promising debut there. The winner went on to finish second in a Group 3 so the form looks good enough for this.
