Not nearly as competitive as the size of the field implies and this looks a good opportunity for Jamaican Flight to gain a popular success. Despite entering the veteran stage of his career, Sue Lamyman's charge put up a fine effort when attempting to make all in a fair staying handicap here last week and was only denied close home. The longer trip should prove no inconvenience and the 10-year-old will prove hard to peg back off a favourable mark. Great As Gold should also appreciate this marathon test but is comfortably held by the selection on last week's running while Barresbo has clearly had his training problems and is best watched after a long spell on the sidelines. Winning hurdler Empire park is well treated on his return to the level but has been well below his best over timber of late so Mostarsil, who was narrowly denied last time, looks a bigger threat if his stamina holds out.
