Verdict

Those to have raced previously appear nothing out of the ordinary and it would be no surprise if Bachelor of Arts proved good enough to make a winning debut. David Loder's colt makes plenty of appeal on breeding being by Stravinsky out of a high class mare who won the Cheveley Park and was placed in the 1,000 Guineas. The stable remains in top form and could well add to the tally with Frankie Dettori taking the ride. Mick Channon's juveniles tend to improve appreciably for a run so Seneschal will prove no pushover after a promising debut at Folkestone earlier in the month. Top Spec showed his inexperience on his initial start at Ripon but was well fancied beforehand and more can be expected here while Grand Rich King was an expensive yearling and is a full brother to a useful juvenile winner so should be noted in the exchanges.
