        Verdict

        Dapper Man bids for a hat-trick raised a further 5lb and should confirm running with Lexington Place in the process of making another bold bid. But it could be the turn of WAR WHISPER today as the latter found only one too good in a tougher sprint than this at Musselburgh last time and can race off the same mark. Alsvinder is best on the all-weather and has failed to figure the last twice despite racing off a much lower mark on Turf but Foxtrot Knight finished in front of both the latter and Liquid when beaten only a neck over track and trip on his penultimate start and has strong claims on that form.
