      Verdict

The Frankel colt HERCULEAN beat Wadilsafa when making a successful debut at Ascot in September but was well beaten by the latter when both returned to action at Newmarket. His stable are in better form now and he can see off Recordman despite his penalty as the Godolphin colt has only shown moderate form in his two starts to date. The remaining trio with experience have shown very little so it's the newcomer Mayfair Secret, a very expensive daughter of Galileo making a belated racecourse debut, who could provide the main threat.
