      Verdict

Garden Oasis has been in decent form this summer, beating Hortzadar at Ayr in June, and Global Spirit won this last year off an 8lb higher mark. Alexander James probably ran better than expected at Yarmouth on a first run for new connections but the normally-reliable Arranmore was hating the soft ground at Chester. Motawaafeq has gone up 4lb for winning at Kempton and hasn’t run on Turf in more than two years. TELE RED (NAP) has been raised 6lb for winning an apprentices’ race at Haydock and an amateurs’ handicap at York but conditions today are ideal and he’s shown he handles this track so a hat-trick beckons with Sam Fielden able to utilise his 7lb claim.
