FASTNET STORM finished behind Desert Romance at Beverley last week but wouldn't have been suited by his wide draw. Stall two here looks ideal for David Barron's front-runner, who'd won well at Carlisle in June, and he could take some pegging back here if allowed an easy lead. Woolston Ferry's winning run came to an end at Bath but he's also capable of bouncing back while Horatio Carter continues to run well and will be pressing for a place again. Pendragon, Sir George and Talent Scout are others with viable claims in an open-looking handicap.
