A difficult race to predict with a number of lightly raced and potentially well handicapped types in opposition. However, a tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Clocking Off who appears to be coming to hand. David Barron's gelding ran his best race last time when a staying-on third in a minor event at Catterick over 7f so will relish this stiff track and won't mind the forecast firm going. Albany is progressing with experience and but, along with recent Newcastle maiden winner Linden's Lady, may struggle to make an impact from a high draw. Polly Plunkett, a close second in a Haydock minor event over this trip last time, is on the upgrade and rates a bigger danger.
