Bahiano is interesting back on turf and gets the nod over Nevada Desert and Prince Samos. The last named was promoted to second after meeting trouble in running at Haydock last month - creating the impression that he was on the way back to something like his best. The six-year-old is more than capable at this level and his chance will increase greatly if rain hits the track before the off. Nevada Desert has been a grand servant to his connections and should make a bold bid to defy his 6lb penalty for last week¿s win at Beverley. This stiff finish ought not to be a problem and a big run is expected from Richard Whittaker's charge. However, there may also be valuable mileage to be gained in siding with Bahiano, who has never ducked a challenge in his many starts for Clive Brittain. The Newmarket-based handler again has a live contender on his hands and looks to have placed the gelding well in his search for an elusive first win on grass in the UK.
