Verdict

Asdaa comes here with a 5lb penalty for last week's Musselburgh victory but he doesn't win often and the concession of 3lb to DELGREY BOY may prove beyond him. Tim Easterby's charge is now 11lb higher than when scoring at Thirsk in May but has continued in fine form subsequently despite being a beaten favourite on all four starts. Challet completed a double last summer and is back on a winnable mark though more rain would aid his cause, a remark that also applies to eight-times winner Delph Crescent and the three-year-old Italian Breeze.
