HIGHWAYGREY won four times over the course and distance last summer, including first time out. He ended the campaign finishing second to Victory Chime here but didn't get the clearest of runs and can reverse the form on 6lb better terms. Waldkonig finished third behind the very smart Mishriff in a Listed contest at Newmarket in June and started long odds-on for a novices' event at Haydock the same month but was disappointing, though the winner was only beaten a neck in a Group 2 next time. Louganini won a handicap over this trip at Haydock and only just failed to win the Old Rowley Handicap over 1m4f at Newmarket so so is an obvious contender. The selection's stable companion Fishable had a very good first campaign while Kaleidoscopic ended the season winning a Doncaster handicap at this level in impressive style and any rain would greatly aid her cause.
