Al Farahidi has shown very little of late and a heavy defeat at Newcastle hardly inspires confidence, however Mark Johnston's other entry in the race, Sand Skier who acts with cut in the ground has a chance. Raleigh Quay was second when last seen and Beaumont's Party also comes here on the back of two runner-up efforts. They are expected to be thereabouts approaching the finish but the vote goes to GOJERI who has appreciated the step-up to a mile in his last two runs. Michael Jarvis has a great record here having won 40% of races he has had entries in. Conciliatory has each-way claims having won twice from five starts this year.
