Verdict

Plenty of these arrive in good form including the veteran City Ground, who has carried Serena Brotherton to numerous victories including in Jersey in April. BIT OF A QUIRKE is a consistent performer who has found his feet in recent weeks having scored twice at Beverley. There's possibly more to come and his experienced pilot can steer him to another success. Excusive Waters easily landed a moderate handicap on Tapeta at Newcastle while Inspector Norse has now dropped to a favourable mark and showed a bit more dash at Ayr. Bonnie Arlene won over the course and distance in May and doesn't have much more to do with her rider negating the 5lb extra with her claim.
