Verdict
Sudden Impulse has hit a rich vein of form and can make it three wins on the bounce, Sekirk Lady and Liberty Run may provide most danger. The selection's most recent victory came at Beverley at the end of August when just holding on from Meadow Soprano. She had the race in the bag at the furlong pole but idled in front. The extra trip should be ideal and as long as she doesn't make her move too soon she should land the hat-trick. Walter Swinburn's Selkirk Lady showed improved form on her handicap debut at Southwell and could be well treated on her return to the turf. Meanwhile Liberty Run comes here in good heart following a smooth victory at Brighton. Of the others Blue Hedges would have a squeak on his best form, but Sudden Impulse is hard to ignore in this mood and she gets the verdict.
