Power Politics looks the class act here and can he can get the better of stable companion Capricorn Run and Supaseus. The selection looked a decent prospect when taking a maiden here last season, beating the now 97 rated Formal Decree by four lengths. He should step up on his recent third at Southwell and looks the best option here. Capricorn Run got the better of the smart Olympian Odyssey at Newbury in September before being out-classed in a Group three event at Newmarket. This is more his level and a big run is expected. Supaseus was most impressive when landing a competitive nursery at Ascot last time and should go well despite a rise in the weights. Shumookh has done little wrong this season and is another to consider for the places, but it is not hard to envisage a Goldolphin one-two here and Power Politics could be the one over the line first.
