Tommy Carson has a fine record around here and is taken to extend that sequence at the main expense of Ebony Jack. The selection held on well to deny the late lunge of Tallow Bay last time out and the latter re-opposes today on 3lb better terms. However he is pretty enigmatic and showed very little last time out so whilst he is likely to stay on for plenty of consistent pressure, he must be opposed with the selection. Trip and ground are fine for Suzy Smith's 12 year old and despite his advancing years, he still retains plenty of ability. Ebony Jack is a course and distance winner and is certainly on a winning mark if consenting to go through with his effort, whilst Just A Splash will need to forget a below par run last time out. Happy Shopper hasn't shown a lot of late so cannot be put forward with any confidence and so we will return to Tommy Carson to go in again.
