    Verdict

Rosita Bay, Gabier and Private Garcia look the main protagonists in this novices hurdle and the marrow votew is given to Gabier. The selection won well last time out when beating Captain's Legacy and although unproven on this faster ground this is a poor race and he is taken to win again. Rosita Bay would win this easily on his best form but ran no sort of race last time out and the fact that connections go for cheekpecies is off putting and at likely odds he is taken on. Private Garcia is another that could go well on his best form but his stable are woefully out of form and he looks worth taking on. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Gabier.
