Beyond Control, a fair hurdler at best, is taken to open his account over fences at the first time of asking. The gelding, from the Paul Nicholls yard, will go on the ground and has reportedly schooled well at home. The French raider Hasary rates the main danger. He was third last time out behind Indeen Rapide and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Dear Deal has run well without success in this grade and his best form is on faster ground. Dirk Cove is also worthy of consideration. He was a fair third at Fontwell last time out behind Courage Under Fire which gives him good place claims and at least he has experience over fences. Of the remainder Indeed To Goodness has also shown a modicum of ability and could run well at a big price. Beyond Control is the TEAMtalk selection.
