Caroline Keevil trained last year's winner but La Madonnina appears very modest and hasn't raced since July last year. Niki Royal's recent efforts don't inspire much confidence but Rising Teal would have a chance if reproducing her best form and Bebinn has gone close at Towcester and Huntingdon in her last two starts while Marie Deja La is likely to be warming up for a spring campaign having not raced for three months. OSCAR'S PET races in her first handicap but isn't highly tried. She has more scope than most of these so gets the nod.
