In depth

Verdict

Shubaat, a dual winner on the Flat, ran poorly on his hurdling bow at Huntingdon but is expected to do much better and shouldn't be dismissed. KATACHENKO is a winner between the flags so he will have found the minimum trip too short on his latest start on this track. He should make further progress and gets the vote. Solidago has had enough chances and has been beaten on his last two visits here but Marlborough House ran better at Catterick last time though this is a tougher race. Isaacstown Lad is likely to do better over fences but Gurkha Brave has shown promise in bumpers and should make a hurdler.
