Ryton Runner was well beaten over the track and trip last time despite finishing third and looks to have plenty of weight. ROCKY STONE stepped up to this trip for the first time at Wetherby last time and showed just how much he was suited with a battling victory. A 5lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. Solway Sam completed a hat-trick in the early summer of 2010 but hasn't won since and Irish raider Merrydown Vintage ran poorly at Catterick last time when attracting support. Runswick Days ran his best race so far when staying on over shorter at this track a couple of weeks ago so should be suited by today's trip. Silver Dragon has gone off the boil but would have a chance if returning to his best.
