OCEANA GOLD is a confident pick ahead of Wendel and Dan Tucker. Emma Lavelle's charge probably did a little too much in his Kempton race but his win at Huntingdon underlined him as being a smart recruit and we take him to bounce back to form today. Wendel won well at this track on debut. He did not appear to beat a lot on that occasion but he could not have done the job more professionally. Dan Tucker was a fair handicapper on the level. He did act with a degree of cut in the ground in that sphere. Nur Tau is watched in the market. He is far better than his latest run suggests and there was plenty of money around when he was tried at this track previously. Exclusionist was quickly disposed from the Jeremy Noseda stable after showing little on the flat. Glenda Hoddle was well beaten on her most recent outing at Exeter whilst the well bred Henchman makes a return to the course after a sizeable absence. Oceana Gold sets a stiff standard and can confirm earlier promise here.
