Alderbrook Lad was in good form last month, winning at Worcester and Sedgefield. But his latest second to Safe Investment at Fontwell suggests he's in the handicapper's grip now. The latter has been well beaten since at a lower level and Royal Chatelier returns on a career-high mark but the assessor has given a chance to Red Rock and he should be winning soon if jumping a little better. FEARLESS LEADER hasn't made much impact so far over fences but gets in here off a decent mark and is back over his best trip. He could be worth an interest ahead of Midnight Lira and Shock N Freaney.
