KID COMMANDO, a winning point-to-pointer, won by 18 lengths on his bumper debut at Fontwell and has competed at a much higher level in Ascot bumpers. He can make a successful debut over timber as Jack Valentine, who won a Uttoxeter bumper in November, was well beaten when starting odds-on for his hurdling bow at Ffos Las. However, he did a bit better at Chepstow last time and has to be respected. Hit The Rocks, a winner on the Flat in Ireland in August, attracted support on his hurdling debut here last month but jumped badly left and was eventually well beaten. His stable companion Bigunonthebalcony also struggled here a couple of weeks ago.
