In depth

Verdict

An interesting little race despite the lack of numbers. Alan King must believe Chosen Path is well handicapped as he wouldn't be running him here on his chasing debut otherwise. Twice a winner over hurdles, chasing has always been on the agenda and he'll be winning soon. Gary Moore is in great form and Larry looks certain to go well. A winning bumper and dual hurdles winner, he'll have come on a bundle for his recent debut over fences at Ascot. Mister Malarkey, a winner over timber at Kempton a year ago, is another having his first start over the bigger obstacles but RISK AND ROLL has already had two runs over fences. Paul Nicholls' dual hurdles winner jumped moderately on his chasing bow at Newton Abbot and fell at the first when sent to Carlisle but he remains a young horse with potential and can hopefully get over his jumping problems here.
