Verdict

MASON JAR (NAP) was given a kind introduction to chasing at Fontwell but wasn’t beaten far. Today’s opposition is much less daunting and Richard Newland’s six-year-old is potentially well treated on his hurdles form. Dr Sanderson ran poorly either side of a second at Ludlow last season and has a bit to prove on his reappearance but Enrichissant looked progressive at the start of the year and Copper Coin should make a better chaser than hurdler. Gateway To Europe split a couple of subsequent winners on his chasing bow at Fontwell but was likely flattered by that result, though did win around here over timber.
