Canni Thinkaar ended last term in some style but prefers some cut in the ground and looks too high in the ratings. Global Flyer also looks a touch too high in the weights to challenge and although Cubism is entitled to improve in time, he has shown his best efforts to date over shorter trips. Former French chaser Makena has to be respected after a lovely run of form saw her land a four-timer in the summer, however her last two tries have indicated she may also be under the grip of the handicapper. FIRM ORDER receives the vote after winning impressively at Ludlow back in May and if he has come on during summer training, he can land the top honours from a very favourably assessed mark. Clifton Debut and Winsley Hill are likely to play a part on the pick of their hurdling ability and are ready to strike if Firm Order isn't at his peak returning from his summer break.
