In depth

Verdict

There is a lot of dead wood in this selling affair, and it should be within the scope of Grand Prairie ahead of veteran Reach The Clouds and Harry's Game. Gary Moore is always a trainer to follow here, and hopes are high that Grand Prairie can atone for his defeat at Fakenham where he looked all over the winner before being outbattled by Protocol close home. A prolific winner in Spain in the past, he won a better race than this at Folkestone last March and with Jamie Moore back in the plate, should be the one to beat. Reach The Clouds was touched off in a very poor race over fences here last time, and the fact that he is mentioned shows just how bad this race is. Harry's Game beat all bar the favourite Grand Manner at Huntingdon, and as the pair were clear, he should at least be capable of picking up a seller in due course. The market is the only guide to the chances of the rest of them, and despite giving weight to most of the rest, Grand Prairie should prove too strong.
