Verdict

CYCLOP produced an excellent round of jumping to score by 10 lengths under Lilly Pinchin at Chepstow last week and has escaped a penalty. If anything, Tom Symonds’ nine-year-old is even more effective over this longer trip and will likely be a warm order. Tzar De L'Elfe is only 1-24 over fences but that victory came on this track in December last year and he makes more appeal than fellow course winner River Of Intrigue. The Happy Chappy tends to get behind and run on when it’s far too late but looks a good bet to pick up some place money again.
