Verdict

GLENGARRA is our idea of the winner though Salsero and Lutin Collonges are obvious contenders. David Gandolfo's charge was a fair third around here earlier in the month and while he is perhaps better known over shorter, there was enough in that effort to suggest that he's worth another chance over the extra four furlongs. Salsero represents a yard that are very much in form. The tongue tie that accompanied his last appearance is still on. Lutin Collonges is exposed as moderate though ran a career best from out of the handicap at Folkestone. Lescer's Lad regularly places in long distance events but can hardly go into the box of being a progressive type. Miss Doublet has dropped massively down the weights though not without good reason. A bad race and Glengarra looks the least unappealing of this bunch.
