The in-form Chris Gordon has a live claim with Gerico Ville who has to give weight away all round. He was progressing steadily last term before coming to grief on his final start and this does not look the deepest of races. The yard also run BADDESLEY though and the Presenting gelding looks quite attractively treated here and, more importantly, looks to have trip and ground to suit. He should prove competitive at the very least. Neil Mullholland is doubly represented, with Super Duper Sam returning from an absence and wind surgery and Ike Sport, whose best form affords him decent claims with Sam-Twiston-Davies booked. Gary Moore's runners are always respected at this venue and the generally consistent Hit The Rocks also looks a player off the bottom rung.
