Lady Chuffnell was making her handicap debut when attempting to lead all the way at Exeter and only being headed at the last. Elios D'Or, a winning bumper, showed his first sign of ability over timber when narrowly beaten at Ludlow but it's about time EMBOLE was winning again. Dan Skelton's charge was outpaced by Cristal Spirit at Fontwell but the winner completed a double here next time so the form looks strong enough for this.
