In depth

Verdict

NATURAL HISTORY is another exciting recruit to hurdling for Gary Moore. He completed a double when landing a Goodwood handicap for Andrew Balding on heavy ground in October before finishing a close second in a Newbury Group 3. Loughan looks the best of those with hurdling experience. Dan Skelton's charge hasn't been beaten far in three of his four starts and has had wind surgery. Gericault Roque couldn't get close to Grandeur D'Ame in a Newton Abbot bumper but the winner was only narrowly beaten in a Cheltenham Listed contest next time.
