        Verdict

We finish the card with a competitive handicap that may fall to Nagano, Killing Me Softly and The Gene Genie could provide most danger. The Ian Williams trained seven-year-old was most impressive when beating previous winner Corsican Native on similar ground at Warwick. He had plenty to spare and should be capable of defying his penalty. Killing Me Softly was also successful last time, just getting the better of Bestam at Leicester. It would be a bit of a surprise if he followed up today, but will be hard to keep out of the money. The Gene Genie has been running better than his form figures suggest and he could prove to be the best each-way alternative. Amnesty is from a yard that rarely leaves Plumpton without a winner so watch for any market move, however Nagano looks the clear form pick and gets the decision.
