In depth

Verdict

What A Vintage looks the pick in a very tricky contest, Ice Bucket and Scalini's are two others expected to go well. The selection is very lightly raced having just contested two bumpers to date. She was very impressive when beating Sobers last time and she gets all the allowances here, should be suited by the trip and will now doubt have been well schooled by her capable trainer. Scalini's looks the pick of the two Jonjo O'Neill runners having been placed in two decent bumpers, before coming to grief on his hurdles debut. Henrietta Knight trains Ice Bucket who is no world beater but has shown plenty of promise in decent enough maidens. Double Dizzy and Something Wells are two others to consider for each-way purposes in a wide open affair, but What A Vintage is the percentage call.
