Dream Catcher ran ok here last time out and whilst that was nothing special, he still gets the nod ahead of Le Soleil, Divers and Qanta De Thaix. The selection is no star but there was enough promise in his run behind Pentasilea here last time. That was his hurdling debut and this decent flat horse (rated 83 at his peak) should have learnt plenty from that experience. The ground may suit and a big run looks on the cards. Divers and Psychic Star both try the blinkers for the first time, with the former a more likely danger based on his second to Bremen on debut at Fontwell. Ardmaddy is fairly consistent and needs a check in the betting, but he has a bit to find on official ratings, whilst Amarillo Sam is a potential improver after just one start. High Standard is consistent and is sure to be in many placepots, however he is yet to win in eight starts and the likelihood is that this will happen once again. Qanta De Thaix ran well enough when second at Newton Abbot and with this track likely to suit, he should be on the premises; however it is Dream Catcher who gets the nod.
