Verdict

Gary Moore's Gemi Bed looked a fortunate winner here last month and looks worth taking on off a 6lb higher mark and preference is for Tarongo, who gets the verdict over River Trix. The selection was one of three horses to depart four out in the race that Gemi Bed won last month and, having lost no cast in defeat behind Inigo Jones at Hereford subsequently, looks worth a bet today. Michael Scudamore's River Trix has shown a decent level of form of late but is probably better over further. Walcot Lad is on a fair mark and has to be respected along with Miss Wizadora assuming that the latter is none the worse for her fall last time. At the top of the handicap, Twenty Bucks looks to have too much weight in a race that is taken to go to Tarongo.
