Dropping back in trip, Plumier looks to have ideal conditions to score here ahead of topweight Harik and the stepping-up-in-trip Deep King. The selection had an off-day last time out at Wincanton but had previously showed he had ability with good efforts at both Exeter and Lingfield. A reproduction of that Exeter effort will see him being too good for the rest of this field. Recent Fontwell winner Harik has to be respected from an in-form yard but whether his amateur jockey will be good enough remains to be seen. Deep King has put in some useful efforts when he has completed a race including at this track. He hails from a yard that has been throwing out winners and it would be no surprise to see him in the shake-up. The value call is Plumier in a tricky little race who should appreciate this step back in trip.
