Lucky Pete showed the benefit of having had a break when slamming his seven rivals over course and distance last month and is taken to defy a 12lb rise in the weights at the main expense of Just Muckin Around and Joint Authority. The last mentioned had little chance in the Betfred Gold Cup last time and is probably better judged on his previous form at the same track in the Royal Artillery. Yvanovitch fell at the water last time and it remains to be seen whether that has left its mark on the seven-year-old, who otherwise holds solid claims. Just Muckin Around looked held off today's mark when falling at Fontwell last month and of more interest may be Gary Moore's novice Haafel, who is less exposed than some of his rivals. Stablemate Master T looks the clear second string, while Soeur Fontenail has been well held off today's mark since winning at Kempton in March. Lucky Pete showed much improved form here last time though and he looks worth a bet to follow up.
