Batswing is likely to be at short odds to take this claimer and is hard to oppose despite giving weight away all round; Gary Moore's gelding gets the vote over Shaman and Caliban. The last mentioned has claims on his best form but is inconsistent, while Wild Tempo is potentially well treated on the pick of his form in France but has shown little in three starts since joining Michael Scudamore. Fireside Legend has more to do than when winning a seller over course and distance last month, while Mr Fernet is relatively unexposed but needs to improve. More solid claims are probably held by Gary Moore's Shaman, who has a chance at the weights, but preference is for stablemate Batswing who has been running well over fences of late and is well treated for his return to the smaller obstacles.
