Verdict

Ding Ding is a six-times course winner but never over this trip. Martha Brae would have a decent chance at the weights and her stable is emerging from the doldrums while Sandymount Rose is usually thereabouts but continues to struggle to get her head in front. MIDNIGHTREFLECTION came up against a well-treated rival in Robin Gold at Ascot and the pair pulled clear on the run-in. She can go one better today as Royal Claret has yet to fire this season.
