Hazeljack seemed certain to make a race of it with Amoreigh last time so has to be fancied to gain the upper hand on 2lb better terms this afternoon. Present M'Lord has been running consistently well and should be involved again. The selection struggled last season but he has slipped down the weights and has recaptured his form of late, scoring readily at Fontwell before unseating in the latter stages here last time. He can make amends. Amoreigh doesn't always look the easiest of rides but he's clearly in great heart at present and must be respected although he's had a busy time of things of late and it may catch up with him at one stage. Present M'Lord is consistent and versatile but has a habit of finding at least one too good. Climate Change is a doubtful stayer but Charango Star and Maori Legend could feature if finding their best form; there must be some doubt about that though and we prefer the claims of the grand old-timer, Hazeljack.
