Verdict

Godot is on a hat-trick as he returns to action and Baddesley is also a previous course and distance winner. Gary Moore and Caolllin Quinn teamed up to land this 12 months ago so Executive Pool is worth a second look but BEAT THE HEAT, a winner on the Flat over the summer, wasn’t beaten far back over hurdles at Fontwell so gets the nod. Copshill Lad, favourite when third at Exeter last month, and the race-fit Heross Du Seuil also warrant close inspection.
