Katahdin was a hot favourite on his hurdles bow at Newbury in November but made mistakes and finished unplaced. He also failed to make the frame on a return visit to the Berkshire track but showed some improvement and this looks a bit easier. However, HIGHWAY ONE O TWO won in a hack canter here on his jumping debut and can complete the double before having his sights raised. White Chocolate won four times on the Flat but, like Lisronagh Stone and Bigunonthebalcony, may need this while Isle of Wolves has been struggling to last home.
