Formerly with Mark Johnston, Cool Investment's last win came on the Flat two years ago in the Swiss St Leger. He failed to win over hurdles but ran some reasonable races when placed. He makes his chasing debut today and others are preferred. Charlie Mann thinks quite a lot of Flinders Chase who he has always regarded as a chaser in the making. He has run creditably on his two starts over fences so far and, given that he is likely to appreciate the step up in trip and is getting 23lbs from the topweight, gets the TEAMtalk vote. Bush Park had an awful fall at Newbury but then ran with credit on his next outing at Aintree behind Ballybough Rasher. Already a three-time winner over fences, he does not look too badly handicapped but the selection is preferred. Jarro certainly has the ability to take a race of this nature but has let himself down so far by refusing to settle. Topweight Ashley Muck is the mount of champion jockey Tony McCoy and he has already won five chases from a highest rating of today's mark. He fell on his latest run and conceding weight all round will not be easy, although he has the best of the chase form on offer.
