      Verdict

John Quinn's MASSINI LOTTO, successful in a point-to-point last year, has travelled a long way for this and the soft ground should bring his proven stamina into play. He can make a winning start under Rules ahead of Tang Royal, another ex-pointer, and newcomers Kings Palace and Sir Gale. Strollawaynow is another debutant to note in the betting and preferred to Musical Legend and Somchine of the remainder.
