Verdict

Celian and Upham Atom have both shown winning form in bumpers but the pair may struggle under their penalties and it may pay to look elsewhere for the winner with preference for BOBBY ON THE BEAT. Paul Nicholls and Sam Thomas have not had the best of fortune in recent days but at least this is one runner that is not going to fall and having run creditably in both starts so far, latterly in a decent race at Cheltenham, Bobby On The Beat looks the one they all have to beat. Sue Smith's Beau Lake ran creditably in a good race at Sandown last month and he makes more appeal than Tim Vaughan's Walamo, who has shown some ability but was well held at Market Rasen last time. A market move for Heather Dalton's newcomer Danmegella or Nick Gifford's son of Winged Love, Neil Harvey, would be of interest but Bobby On The Beat sets a fair standard and he gets the vote.
