FOURPOINTONE showed reserves of stamina to win at Wincanton last week and can win this under his 7lb penalty; Dillay Brook looks the biggest danger while Mortar is another to enter the equation judged on his last effort. Fourpointone is no great shakes but has a good attitude which is all important when these events turn into slogs and with question marks over a large majority of these, he is the obvious selection although at the likely odds it is debatable whether any value will exist. Dillay Brook needed to be rousted along throughout on her last start before a mistake appeared to knock the stuffing out of her. Mortar put in a career best effort when finishing third last time. He does nothing quickly while his jumping left something to be desired. For a nine year old he is lightly raced so it could be that he might just be getting to grips with the game. Miss Doublet shows he best form on heavy ground so even the forecast ground could be on the quick side for her. Fourpointone is the selection to win this handicap chase.
