Verdict

It may be worth taking Frontier Spirit on with BRACKLOON HIGH with the remainder seemingly having little to recommend them. Dubai Express represents a flat orientated yard so appeals as an interesting contender but she was only a cheap purchase and doesn't make any obvious appeal on paper. Mr Navigator takes the eye a little more as he's out of a bumper winner but he may need more time and a trip to be seen to his best effect. Frontier Spirit finished a long way in front of Ceepeegee in a bumper at Chepstow and that was a highly encouraging performance in a race where the first three pulled a long way clear of the field. That run sets the standard but it may be worth giving another chance to Brackloon High who failed to justify strong market support on debut at Fakenham. The form of the race doesn't amount to a great deal but better was clearly expected and a lesson will surely have been learnt by Brackloon High.
