      Verdict

      Stoner's Choice had only one rival at Kempton and the second was beaten in another match at Stratford on Tuesday. Saint Arvans is on a hat-trick after beating small fields at Cartmel and Hexham and GRISBI DE BERCE was one of his victims on the first occasion. Alan King’s charge is now 8lb better off, however, and can turn the tables. Ash Tree Meadow won over 2m here earlier in the month but stays this extra half-mile and looks a threat to all with more to come.
